Conveniently located across the street from Kyoto Station, this hotel offered a very pleasant stay. The rooms were slightly bigger than what is normal in Japan in this price range, and were fitted with amenities (glass showers, beautiful bathroom fittings etc.) to a level fairly rare in even the more expensive hotels in Japan. Even surpassing the rooms, the staff's attentiveness and customer service was on point! Less than a five-minute walk from the Bullet Trains (tracks visible from some rooms) and close to local restaurants, shopping and transport...this hotel will be my go-to from now on. I look forward to checking out their many other locations around Japan. ""On that note, this is a fairly prominent chain so it is important to be careful about the particular address/name of the hotel you chose so as not to confuse it with a sister facilty.

Very modern hotel with excellent location, just steps across the street from Kyoto Station. Lobby area has free fresh-brewed coffee and juice. An outside terrace patio was also available to enjoy drinks or relax. The room was more spacious than other properties we stayed at in Japan with nice furnishings. Nice bonus that the bathroom had a shower room with a glass door that separated it from the vanity/toilet area. Daily room cleaning was done and the entire facility was spotless. Very nice selection of food items at breakfast, offering both Japanese and Western plates. Staff always happy and greeting customers upon arrival and departure. A 7-Eleven is connected to the property on the first floor.

Nice staff, Good location near the station about 5 minutes walk. The convenience store just next to the hotel, Comfortable room & facilities. Really good tasty breakfast, Must try!!

Breakfast was one of the most amazing features of the hotel. Buffet style with excelent fresh choices. Covering lots of the Japanese classics, but also including more Western style for people who live in a box :-).

The location of the hotel is very convenient, just a short walk to Kyoto Station which takes us easily to Arashiyama and also to Karawamachi area. The Klook bus tour also meets up outside Avanti and the Airport Limousine Bus also stops near Avanti with it's ticketing machine. You will never go hungry, as Kyoto Station itself has all the restaurants you need. 7-11 is accessible and connected by a door from the hotel's ground floor. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is clean. Love that they provide epsom salt for a good hot bath specially in winter. They also have coffee and tea dispenser machine provided at their reception for the guests.
